Dryden passes 06 Budget

The 2006 Capital & Operating Budgets have been passed by Dryden City
Council.
Finance Committie Chair Brian Collins introduced the document a last
nites meeting which was arrived at following several months of behind the
scenes work.
Taxes are going up 1.5% but once the province’s assesments are
factored in it works out to an average 4.5% according to Collins.
Included in the Budget is $100,000 to replace playground equipment at Kinsmen & Pronger Parks.
