Dryden Passes Smoke Free Bylaw

Not everyone will be pleased with this.
Dryden City Council will invoke a smoke-free bylaw at the start of 2003, but its not the gold standard one desired by the Northwestern Health Unit.
Councilors passed their own version of the new rules last night which call for a ban on smoking in any enclosed areas where people under the age of 18 have access.
While admitting council will catch flack from some, council felt this was better than the strict gold standard rules or not having any rules at all.
