Dryden Police Arrest Man For Assaulting Officers And Threats

Dryden Police are reporting assault and mischief charges at the Extra Foods parking lot.

Police say on Friday November 23rd they received a call of a disturbance of an intoxicated man at the Tim Hortons parking lot.

Police say when they arrived the man was found in the Extra Foods parking lot and he immediately began to fight with officers, threaten to kill officers and once he was under arrest he damaged a police vehicle.

Dryden Police say 34 year old Sandeep Singh Dhadwal of Dryden has been charged with two counts of Assaulting Police, 6 counts of Uttering Death Threats, Resisting Arrest and Mischief Over $5,000.

Police also say he remains in custody and will appear for bail in Sioux Lookout later today.
