Dryden Police Charge Man Following Assault

Dryden Police have charged a 47-year-old man with assaulting police and resisting arrest following an incident Saturday evening.
A man was walking along Van Horne when he had called police, saying that a man appeared to be drunk and was yelling at him.
Police arrived, and arrested Fredrick Wassaykeesic who became angry and tried to punch one of the officers.
He is expected to appear in court in January.
