Dryden Police Chief Shayne MacKinnon believes the City has an effective
and cost efficient service and he’s not expecting a service review similar
to the one conducted in Kenora.
MacKinnon is reserving comment on the Kenora issue as the Ontario
Civilian Commission on Police Services still needs to approve the deal to switch from a Municipal Force to OPP.
MacKinnon believes Dryden residents are satisfied with the current
policing system and he doesn’t anticipate any change.
