A recent break and enter is prompting a reminder from the Dryden Police Service.
Someone entered a Dingwall Parkway home sometime between August 7th and 12th, drank some liquor and slept in the basement before the residents returned.
Inspector Kevin Glenister says we live in a pretty safe community, but these types of situations can still happen.
Glenister says the home was forcibly entered and police are looking for a suspect.
Anyone with information on the break and enter is encouraged to contact Dryden Police or Crimestoppers.
Glenister is also out with some tips on how to avoid thefts and break and enter incidents.
He says it’s important for folks to lock their doors and vehicles.
