The Dryden Police Service is investigating a report of an injured man in the Parkdale Road area.
Police issued a statement around 11:00 Saturday evening.
Police say at this time there is no threat to the public and no crime has been reported to police in relation to this incident.
Police say they will continue to make public safety a priority and will share information accordingly.
No other details have been released.
The notice comes at the same time of social media reports of a man covered in blood with an axe.
