Kids who are caught riding their bikes safely in Dryden will get a surprise from City Police.
Community Services Officer Kevin Hildebrand says “Scoops for Safety” is a yearly initiative and it runs until September.
Dairy Queen has provided hundreds of ice-cream vouchers which will go to kids who are seen demonstrating proper bike-handling skills.
Hildebrand says they are looking for kids who are wearing their helmets, using proper hand signals, having a horn and using lights when riding at night.
