The Dryden Police Service is the local lead in the nation-wide ‘No Good Way’ campaign.
Community Services Officer Denise Szachury has been stopping at schools, government offices and other areas of Dryden raising awareness of the initiative.
The goal is to eliminate the use of the R-word in everyday conversation across Canada.
Special Olympics Canada, athletes and those with an intellectual disability have voiced how harmful the use of the word is to them.
