Dryden Police Officer Assaulted

A 27-year-old man has been charged with assaulting police following a reported fight on King Street early Saturday morning.
Dryden Police arrived around 1:15 and attempted to arrest the accused for public intoxication.
Police allege that Leroy Fiddler attacked the officer, knocking him to the ground.
A short struggle ensued before Fiddler was brought under control.
He will appear in Court on January 24th.
