Dryden Police Service Welcomes New Constable

The Dryden Police Service has welcomed a new member to its team.

Constable Jonathan Slater has officially been sworn into duty by Chief Doug Palson.

Slater grew up in Eagle River and attended schools and extracurricular activities in Dryden.

From 2006 to 2016, he was with the Ministry of Natural Resources in Dryden as a crew leader.

In 2016, Slater joined the Nishnawbe-Aski Police Service as a Constable.

He says he’s ecstatic to join the Dryden Police Service, noting it will be nice to give back to the community that he was raised in.
