Dryden Police Taking Part In Yellowcard Day

The Dryden Police Service is throwing its full support behind the 2nd Annual Yellowcard Day for Special Olympics Canada.

The national anti-bullying campaign is being held today, with the mission to end the casual and negative use of the R-word in everyday conversation.

The Police Service says for over 850-thousand Canadians living with an intellectual disability, the use of the word invokes memories of being bullied and endless days of being told they are outsiders.

Officers are urging local residents to get involved by visiting www.motionball.com/yellowcard
