Dryden Police Warn of Scams

A reminder that if it seems too good to be true, it probably is.
Dryden Police are notifying residents about various scams making the rounds.
One is called Australian Lotto 6/45 and they set up monthly prepayments for the player.
Recently a so-called winner was advised that in order to collect a 4-million dollar prize, a payout fee was required.
The second scam is an on-going mail scam enticing victims to send personal information in order to collect money from the estate of a person with the last name.
The scammer uses that information to access your banking information.
