Dryden Proudly Hosts Northern Ontario Bowling Championship

An amazing atmosphere at the Timberlanes Bowling Centre on the weekend.
Well over 500-young bowlers, coaches, parents and fans were in Dryden for the Northern Ontario Youth Championship.
Timberlanes Owner Arnie Rollins says it was great to host the event.
Rollins says local kids usually have to make an 18-hour trek on the bus to attend nationals four out of six years.
He adds it’s nice to have the tournament at home and notes it results in major economic spin-off’s for the community.
Rollins says he was proud to welcome the top young bowlers from across the north.
