The Mayor of Dryden is not too pleased following an announcement the
Province is injecting over a billion dollars into Northeastern roads.
Anne Krassilowsky says Regional Highways are in deplorable shape and
the Province has done nothing to fix the problem.

A Ministry of Transportation report indicates there are no short-term
plans to 4-lane Highway 17 because traffic levels don’t justify expansion.
Krassilowsky responded by asking why the MTO feels a Bypass is needed.
