A multi-million dollar shot in the arm for Ontario hospitals.
The Province will use 300 million for board deficits and another 50 on improving programs.
Dryden Regional Health Centre Spokesperson Wade Petranik says its unclear how much money will trickle down locally, but stresses some funding is needed to help cope with changing times.
Petranik credits pressure from the Ontario Hospital Association.
There will be a third party review of hospital finances to help provide advise on how to allocate the funding.
