Dryden Ready for Canadian Masters Windsurfing Championship

Some of the top windsurfers in North America have invaded Dryden for the Canadian Masters Windsurfing Championship.

The 3-day event begins Friday on Wabigoon Lake.

The Championship features the CAN-AM Challenge, where sailors will race for National pride.

The winning team will take home over $2,000.

Organizers say the event is expected to bring in thousands of dollars and will showcase Dryden as a leader in sports tourism.

Opening ceremonies are 10:30 Friday, with racing starting at 11.
