The Dryden Regional Health Centre is getting over a million dollars
to offer more knee and hip surgeries.
CEO Wade Petranik says the Provincial money will allow the Hospital
to conduct 150-additional surgeries from the start of October to the end of
March.
Petranik says they worked with the Hospitals in Kenora and
Fort Frances to apply for the ‘wait time strategy’ funding.
The Community Care Access Centre for the Kenora and Rainy River
Districts also received $247,000 to provide in-home rehab services.
