Dryden Resident Set to Swim Across Thunder Lake

Dryden’s Mike Sveinson is set to swim across Thunder Lake on July 3rd in memory of his mother Verna, who succumbed to cancer in 2007.
Sveinson says all money raised from his swim will go towards the Dryden Hospital Ultrasound Fund.
July 3rd is the day his mom passed away and its also Sveinson’s birthday.
Sveinson says the Ultrasound Fund was selected because his family believes its critical that patients receive treatment close to home.
Sveinson says he will start at Johnsons Beach and end at his childhood home on Travis Road.
