The Dryden Rotary Club is putting the wraps on what it is calling “a banner year”.
Members gathered Wednesday for a recap of 2017/2018 and chairing his last official meeting President Ed Iskra stated they exceeded all of their fundraising goals.
Iskra says future projects include supporting scholarships and donating furniture for the new and improved Hoshizaki House.
One of the highlights for Iskra was the Rotary Mudmen concert, where they raised funds for Shelter Box, a hurricane and emergency relief initiative.
He is thanking all Rotary members and the public for their support and volunteer time throughout the year.
Next Wednesday, Iskra will be handing the gavel over to incoming President Peter Marshall.
