There may not be snow on the ground just yet but the Dryden Ski Club is preparing for the upcoming season.
Memberships are on sale now at early bird prices until November 15 and last year’s members can receive a discount due to the shortened season.
President Julie Edwards encourages new and long time members to take advantage of the sale.
“The membership sale really just makes it so that everyone can pay for the whole season at a really reasonable rate. The difference between a membership and our daily rate, so you can check out our rates at skidryden.com.”
Edwards notes COVID-19 protocols will be in effect this season.
“Anyone that is going to be planning to dine eat, so eat within the chalet will have to have their proof of COVID-19 vaccination. However, everything else remains status quo. So if you needed to com inside for a rental, a food purchase, to use the washroom, that is all non-proof of vaccination needed.”
The ski hill closed early due to a COVID-19 lockdown last year but Edwards hopes to have a longer season and offer more programming.
“Snow shoeing, cross country or down hill, so depending what you want to experience we’ve got lots of different things. we also have classes, we will have programming that will allow you or your young child to be instructed by someone.”
Edwards adds they’re excited to welcome back the community and plan for the hill to be open Wednesday and Friday nights and Saturday and Sundays.
