Dryden Snowmobile Trails Close

Another season of snowmobiling has come to an end in the Dryden area.
The Power Toboggan Club has closed the trail system due to the recent warm weather.
President Pat Oliphant says despite the low number of passes sold, overall he is pleased on the operations side.
379 trail permits were sold this season, down 145 from the year prior.
Oliphant says after barely breaking even, next year could be up in the air.
He adds the Club received great support from Dryden Police in the past month to crack down on sledders using the system without a pass.
Closing the trails means riding on them now is trespassing and you could face criminal charges.
