It will be an exciting day in Dryden Friday as the new Community Splash Park officially opens to the public.
The project has quickly come to life over the past five months after a $230,000 donation from the Beyak Automotive Group.
Marketing and Public Relations Manager Holly Kaemingh says a special event is being held from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm at the Rotary Park site.
“We’ll have a short opening ceremony at about 11:15 am and after that we’ll be making hot dogs and hamburgers, have a free community BBQ, and hopefully lot’s of people will bring their kiddos out to play in the park.”
There will also be plenty of children’s activities.
