Dryden Submits Connecting Link Proposal to Prov.

5-major projects are included in Dryden’s 5-year reconstruction plan.
The City must submit the proposed list of projects to the Province in
order to be eligible for funding under the ‘Connecting Link’ program.
The number one priority is the reconstruction of the Duke Street
Overpass at a cost of $2.5-million.
The detailed design of 5-laning Highway 17 is second on the list
followed by the reconstruction of several city streets.
The price-tag to complete the upgrades is pegged at $6.7-million, with the Municipality responsible for 10% of the costs.
