It was a chance to remember and thank those who keep us safe on a daily basis.
A 9/11 ceremony was held earlier Friday at the Dryden Fire Hall.
Fire Chief Ken Kurz says it’s important to come together in support of our emergency personnel.
Kurz says you have to have confident, trained people in every service as well as work closely with other groups.
He adds they have to be prepared for any terrorist attack or natural disaster.
