The Keewatin-Patricia District School Board has dismissed a teacher at Dryden High School.
Trustees approved a motion at its public meeting Tuesday to dismiss Jarrett Brossueau from his employment as a teacher with the Board, effective November 27th, 2007, for reasons of sexual misconduct involving a student.
The Board says it can’t provide any further details expect that the College of Teachers will be notified of the restriction on duties and Brosseau’s dismissal.
College Spokesperson Brian Jamieson says the issue will be investigated and at that time the college will determine if a disciplinary hearing is needed.
CKDR attempted to contact Mr. Brosseau, however is number is no longer in service.
Police are not investigating.
