Dryden Police have charged an 18-year-old man after officers were called to a Pioneer Street home early Sunday morning.
Police say the homeowner was awakened by a loud bang in the basement.
Someone broke a window and officers arrested Matthew Sheperdson a short time later on Florence Street for mischief.
Police found that the accused had a backpack full of industrial tools, which was stolen from a truck parked on Pioneer.
Sheperdson also faces 1-count of possession of stolen property.
