Dryden Trillium Lions Supporting Local Groups

An early Christmas present for a number of community organizations.

The Dryden Trillium Lions Club has taken over the role of Santa and is delivering more than $17,500 to deserving groups.

The money comes from the Catch the Ace Lottery.

Those benefiting include:

-Making Connections for Children and Youth
-Dryden Public Library
-Special Olympics
-Hoshizaki House
-Dog Guides
-Dryden Skating Club
-CNIB Lions Lake Joseph Transportation Project
-Camp Quality
-Dryden Trillium Lions Medical Assistance
-Dryden Scouts
-Girl Guides and Pathfinders
-Vision Care at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Foundation

The Ace of Spades was finally found on Monday with Susan Pollock winning the progressive jackpot of $12,153.
