Dryden Councilor Mel Fisher is asking City staff to look at way’s to make Dryden a more bike friendly community.
Fisher says that includes additional bike stands, biking lanes and maybe even parking restrictions on City streets to allow for more bike traffic.
Council has endorsed his plan and has directed Staff to come up with a strategy by 2012.
Ken Moss voted against the resolution at Monday night’s Council meeting, stating he doesn’t want to see a loss of parking spaces in the community.
