Dryden Turning To Outside Firm To Conduct Review

The City of Dryden is spending roughly $70,000 to hire the consulting firm KPMG to carry out a comprehensive operational and service level review.
The review will start Monday and a final report is due back November 15th.
Mayor Craig Nuttall says everyone will be included in the review.
Staff have identified $62,000 in savings from the administration and council budgets in order to cover the costs of the review.
Councilor Shayne MacKinnon says he’s very impressed with the Sudbury based firm, noting they did wonders for Midland who experienced similar problems as Dryden in 2012.
Acting Chief Administrative Officer Debra Kincaid says the study will give Council a lot of flexibility on future decisions.
