The City of Dryden is getting gas tax funding after all.
Yesterday, the Province announced that Municipalities without a public transit system would not get a portion of the funds.
However today in surprise move, the Government revealed the City would be getting over $38,000.
Mayor Anne Krassilowsky says the cash will be spent on Handi-Transit.
Krassilowsky says the money comes at an opportune time as the City is going through the budget process for the service.
She says the funding was needed as it will stabilize the future of Handi-Transit.
