Dryden Woman Supporting Cancer Research And Hoping To Break World Record

A Dryden woman, now living in Winnipeg, wants you to be part of a great cause and break a Guinness World Record.

Karly Tardiff is organizing the “Chain for Change”, where people will gather at the Forks on Saturday to form the longest line of ice skaters on the longest ice skating trail.

Tardiff says she got the idea after moving to Winnipeg, researching ideas on how to keep busy.

She says she determined that most records are set by forming human chains and that’s how she came up with the fundraiser for the CancerCare Manitoba Foundation.

Tardiff says they need 400-participants to break the Guinness World Record and $20,000 to meet their fundraising goal.
