Dryden’s Tyler Boon and Ryan Hron have captured the Keystone Cup Western Canada Junior ‘B’ hockey championship.
The two are members of the Thunder Bay Northern Hawks, who defeated the Manitoba KJHL champions Peguis Juniors 5-2 in the final.
Boon and Hron are attending Lakehead University and were joined by Red Lake’s Hugh Harland on the Hawks roster.
They are the second Thunder Bay team to hoist the Keystone Cup.
The Fort William Hurricanes took home the title in 1999.
