Dryden’s Brunton Scores In Big Win

The Kenora Triple ‘AAA’ Midget Thistles have managed to stave off elimination in the first round of the playoffs.
The Thistles came back to beat the Winnipeg Thrashers 3-2 Wednesday night in Winnipeg.
The Thrashers built a two goal lead early in the game, but the Thistles mounted their come back in the second and third with three unanswered goals from Dryden’s Josh Brunton, Daniel Nault and Brandon Stanley.
Game 3 of the Best of 5 series is in Kenora Friday night at 7:30.
