It’s the start of a new era for Dryden’s Ian McMillan.
McMillan and his new team hit the ice this week at the Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling Tour Challenge in Thunder Bay.
McMillan is now playing with the Braden Calvert foursome out of Winnipeg.
Calvert is a two-time Canadian junior champion and winner of the 2015 world junior gold medal.
McMillan previously played with Team Gunnlaugson and earned the Tour Challenge Tier 2 title last season.
This year he’s in the highest Tier 1 division.
McMillan is throwing second stones and his first game is 7 o’clock eastern Tuesday against Glenn Howard.
The event is being held at the Thunder Bay Tournament Centre.
