Another major accomplishment for Dryden’s Tyler Langlais.
The Calgary Dinos defensive tackle has been named to the Canada West University Football All-Star team.
Langlais tells CKDR News that the announcement caught him by surprise and he wasn’t even thinking about becoming an All-Star.
Langlais says Dinos coach Blake Nill told him all year that he could be an All-Star if he pushed himself.
The defensive tackle anchored a young front as the Dinos lost six starters from last year’s Vanier Cup team.
Langlais says he’s worked hard this year and he credits his fellow linemen for his success.
He notes they have really bonded.
The Calgary Dinos finished the regular season with an 8-0 record for the first time in school history and will play for the Canada West title on Saturday.
