The Calgary Dinos open the University football season Saturday in B.C. and a Dryden resident will be front and centre at the game.
Tyler Langlais will suit up as the starting defensive end for the 3rd ranked Dinos.
Langlais was a guest on the CKDR Morning Show today and he stressed he’s excited about the opportunity.
Langlais says his goal this year is to increase his sack total and put up some impressive statistics in a bid to make the CFL.
He is also crediting his success to the Dryden Eagle High School Football program.
Langlais offered the following message to all DHS athlete; “always push to make yourself better because you never know who is watching.”
The Dinos take on UBC at 4 o’clock central and the game can be seen at CanadaWest.tv
