Dual Campus For Med School?

Will the new northern medical school be a dual campus?
That question was posed by municipal leaders who gathered for the annual Northwestern Ontario Municipal Association general meeting in Thunder Bay.
New NOMA President Ingrid Parkes of Kenora says the intent is that medical students will be able to get a medical degree from either Laurentian University in Sudbury or Lakehead University in Thunder Bay.
Parkes believes Premier Ernie Eves will follow through on a campaign promise to give both universities equal standing.
The three-day conference wrapped up Saturday.
