Duke Street Work Delayed Until Next Week

Delays to the massive reconstruction of Duke Street in Dryden.
The project has been delayed due to unforeseen circumstances.
Manager of Public Works and Engineering Blake Poole says work is now scheduled to begin next Monday or Tuesday.
Poole says the contractor will be on site this week to install temporary above ground water lines.
However, that won’t impact traffic on Duke Street.
The project is expected to wrap up in late October and the road will be closed during construction.
