Dumpbears Win Mixed Slo-Pitch Tournament

The P.I. Dumpbears are the champions of the 2013 Gender Bender Mixed Slo-Pitch Tournament.
The Dumpbears beat the Dusters 13-5 in an all-Dryden final yesterday afternoon.
The ‘B’ side final saw the Black Aces top the Bacon Strips 13-3 in the battle of two Thunder Bay teams.
The Nightmare topped the Slugs 24-13 in the ‘C’ final.
12-teams from across the region including Thunder Bay, Sioux Lookout and Atikokan took part in the three day tournament at the Sandy Beach Ball complex.
