Duncan Keith has made good on his promise to bring the Stanley Cup to Fort Frances.
An estimated crowd of 2,000 filled the 52 Canadians Arena Saturday to watch the Fort Frances Minor Hockey league product hoist the cup.
Keith says it was a huge thrill for him to get back to where his hockey career all started.
He notes it was a thrill to bring the cup back home and celebrate in front of family and friends.
During his visit, Keith signed autographs for the hundreds of people gathered for the celebration.
Keith later made visits to the hospital, Rainycrest and Couchiching during his day-long visit.
