Dryden Police are warning the public about another scam.
A local family received an email from someone who was an actual family member, stating that he was in the Ukraine and misplaced his wallet.
He went on to say that he was unable to retrieve his passport from the hotel safe because he didn’t have any identification.
The email asked for a $2,500 loan to sort out hotel bills and get himself home.
Police and the family are confident that the email is a scam.
