A strong effort for the Dryden Eagle High School Boys Hockey team at the John Taylor Tournament of Champions over the weekend.
The Eagles finished with a 1 and 3 record, however two of the losses came in overtime.
One of the stand-out performances was a 2-1 overtime loss to Oak Park, the top team in the Winnipeg High School Hockey League.
Goalies Justin Oltsher, Brendan Szabo and Adam Notte were all outstanding during the Tournament.
The Eagles resume regular season play Tuesday against Red Lake.
