Eagle Lake is getting ready for its 4th annual Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women Round Dance.
The event starts at 9:30am on Saturday at the reserve and features Deputy Grand Chief Anna Betty Achneepineskum as a guest speaker.
Spokesperson Danine Chief says everyone is welcome to come out and stresses it’s a really great event to draw awareness for the missing and murdered epidemic.
The gathering will also have a small luncheon for participants to enjoy.
Meantime, Dryden High School will be hosting its annual Pow Wow and Cultural Celebration indoors Friday morning at 10:00.
