A local broomball team is bringing home $25,000!
The Eagle Lake Lady Chiefs were the winners of the 2023 Keewatinook Ladies Broomball Championships at the Dryden Memorial Arena, taking the top prize of $25,000.
The Lady Chiefs won the A side final 1-0 in overtime over the Kaschechewan Lady Danglers.
On the B side, the Nibinamik Warriors beat out the Oz Stars.
