Eagle Lake Wins Ball Tournament In Sioux Lookout

Eagle Lake came out on top in the First Nations Memorial Classic in Sioux Lookout over the weekend.

Eagle Lake had a 3-0 record in the round robin and won two play-off games to advance to the final.

Nate Bruyere had a couple of home runs, including a grand slam for Eagle Lake to secure an 18-12 victory over the Sliders from Sioux Lookout.

Bruyere was named the tournament MVP.
