Eagle River Does It Again!

Eagle River continues to brighten the spirits of residents and those passing by!

Several area residents continue to spontaneously theme decorate trees located at the entrance to the community. They’ve marked Halloween, Christmas, Valentines Day and now St. Patricks Day.

You may not find a pot of gold at the end of this wonderous display but your life will be en’rich’ed just by visiting and viewing this smile generating area!

If you can’t physically visit, here’s the next best thing. Pictures of the site you’ll see and a St Patrick’s Day original poem sent by Connie Calvert. Enjoy!!

There’s a little village named Eagle River,
And yes this community does deliver.
The trees have changed to another theme,
And our little park has turned leprechaun green!
Lads and lassies lending a hand,
To turn it into a fantasyland.
Michelle and Bruce have added delight,
By trimming their trees in lights of bright white.
Volunteers Linda, Donna, Debbie, Carm, Bob, Barb, Warren, Connie, Sandie, Bentley, London, Bonita, Audrey, Dianne, Mandy, Todd and Jett,
Share their ingenious creations,
How lucky can we get?
The snowman has even gotten dressed up,
Who knows, he may even tip his cup.
