Eagle River Goes Green!

As Submitted by: Connie Calvert

Once again our dedicated volunteers braved the strong gusts of wind,

Libby Bartlett-Hermanson and Kathy Bartlett show off their tree, Dressed in green for St Patrick’s Day you see.

Followed by Kathy Pippy-Evans and Ursula Rhyner, who do not want to linger.
Topped with ‘Lucky’ so we are crossing our fingers.
They stand by the corner tree,
Dressed in shiny green,
Kathy wears a hat,
To capture the scene.

Lisa Durocher shows off her pretty tree,
She stood on a  ladder to cover it properly!

Kathy and Connie dressed the Pollard-Montgomery tree,
Gusting winds made their job hasty!

We finish your tour with the Jaeger trees,
Bonnie Leutschaft, Libby Hermanson-Bartlett and Carmene Hampe didn’t quite freeze!

Tanya Larson’s tree is yet to be dressed in the sun,

She had to work so missed the fun!

Thank you to all these helpers who brave the weather of the day, And strive to bring joy to help  celebrate St Patrick’s Day!

May Irish luck follow you all year,

Come to Eagle River to check it out, but we don’t serve green beer!
