Eagle River Resident to Run in Diabetes Marathon

She has no experience running in marathons but Eagle River’s Nicole Taylor will be the youngest Northwestern Ontario participant taking part in a 42km run in Reykjavik, Iceland.
The 17-year-old will head north next August to raise money for diabetes research.
Taylor has been living with the disease for 4 years and she says raising money to find a cure is a worthwhile venture.
Taylor is hoping to raise over $5,500 and she has started her fundraising drive.
