My thanks to Connie Calvert for another update on Eagle River residents ongoing committment to community improvements! Amazing!!
Connie Calvert’s words;
“Eagle River residents continue to improve the community with new additions and improvements.
Our local artist and regular contributor, Linda Carter, created the ‘two sided face-in-hole-board’ with a bee and fishing scene. The board was donated by Barb and Warren Harrison and Bob Hampe installed it for all to enjoy! The map, created by Burton Penner, is part of the Beautician Committee grant.”
The Rec Centre has a seating and bike rack area which was brought back to life with painted hubcaps (painted by Carm Hampe and Connie Calvert and ‘zhuzhed’ up by Linda Carter). The round table, bright plant, several coloured bikes and a commemorative orange item dot the area as well.
Volunteers continue to contribute their skills and attributes to make our community inviting. Positivity breeds positivity.
